Qualifications: B of Ed; MA; Ph D

Lloy Falconer is a secondary teacher and course developer at the South Island Distance Education School (SIDES). She has worked in many varied educational settings including neighbourhood schools, computer literacy labs, university classrooms, and online environments.  Lloy holds a Bachelor of Education, a Master of Arts, and a Doctor of Philosophy.  Her doctoral research identifies the specific steps educators and students take when using the Internet to create and complete international projects.  Every day, she sees the real-life aspects of this research put to practical use.  Although Lloy works as a teacher, with students of all ages, she sees herself as a life-long learner.  She brings energy and a love of knowledge to each learning project.

From experience, Lloy knows that the world is filled with the most wonderful people and the most glorious locations. She hopes to continue her travels and spend time with her good friends and supportive family.
