Background

Nigel Atkin has extensive experience in strategic communication, strategic planning, public outreach, governance, change management, public administration, transparency and ethics. He worked for 35 years in Canadian Provinces/Territories as a public servant. As an international private consultant and university instructor he holds a Masters Degree in Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism. He believes that when people become better communicators they become better in all areas of decision-making. He advocates that individuals and institutions can achieve their goals when they embrace a culture of communication.
