Background

In the Victoria Korean Community, Mr. Sea H. Song is very well known for his educational advice and professional ability to guide students into the most reputable and prestigious universities. For thirteen years, he was a planning manager in the headquarters of Nonghyup Bank, the largest financial institution and agricultural food marketing company in South Korea. For the next last ten years, he has put all of his efforts into providing education for international students through SONGhakwon Academy which offers students outstanding exam preparation courses such as TOEFL, SAT, ACT and AP along with other educational services.

Thus far, over 95% of SONGhakwon graduates have entered into top Canadian universities such as UVic, UBC, Queen’s, U of Toronto, Waterloo and McGill, as well as top US universities including almost all top public universities and Ivy League schools. In 2011, 100% of the SONGhakwon SAT class were accepted by their respective first choice universities which included UPenn, Wharton Business, Columbia Financial Engineering, NYU Stern Business, Notre Dame, Illinois Urbana-Champaign Engineering and U of Oregon.

Mr. Sea H. Song’s academic credentials include an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at University of Victoria in BC, Canada, and a Bachelor’s degree in Math at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea.
