Dr. Thomas W. Roemer is gifted in language skill, he can speak 7 languages including English, German, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Greek and Latin.
He got his Ed.D. Doctorate in Educational Leadership in Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, British Columbia; April 2008 and his M.Sc. Master of Science in Physics (Astrophysics) in University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta Ludwig-Maximilians-University, Munich, Germany; March 1993.
He is the Vice-President (Strategic Development) at Camosun College; Victoria, BC. From June 2010 he is the Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Education (Educational Leadership) in Simon Fraser University; from July 2007 to May 2010 he worked as the Dean, School of Trades and Technology at Camosun College. July 2005 to June 2007 he was the Associate Dean, Science, Technology and Health at Okanagan College; Kelowna, British Columbia. October 2003 to June 2005 he was the Associate and Acting Dean, Faculty of Engineering Technologies, Okanagan University College; Kelowna, British Columbia. July 2001 to June 2004 he was the Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Network And Telecommunications Engineering Technology; Faculty of Engineering Technologies; Okanagan University College; Kelowna, Brit. Columbia.
August 1996 to June 2001 he was the College Professor, Department of Electronic Engineering Technology, Faculty of Trades and Technology; Okanagan University College. September 1993 to July 1996 he worked as Program Coordinator and Instructor, Continuing/Distance Education, Okanagan University College; Kelowna, British Columbia.
He has published numerous presentations and publications and obtained many Sponsorships and Awards since 1980s.
